Kevin D Shank

Born in Charlotte North Carolina in 1961, Kevin discovered photography at an early age with his Kodak 110 series camera.  Kevin began pursuing photography in the early 1990s and attended a local college, Central Piedmont Community College, and took every class possible for creative image processing and photography styles.  Kevin admires photographers Terry Ketron, Gary O’Brien, and Sonia Handelman Meyer.  Kevin loves to explore other art forms including music and writing.  Kevin has traveled throughout Central America, the Caribbean and Cuba to build a portfolio of images portraying life and social challenges.  Kevin’s exhibits local and regionally and enjoys working with people and creating images from street scenes and creating designer portraits.  Kevin lives in Mooresville North Carolina.
