What to Expect During Your Session

Step Number One

Once we have scheduled a session, we can begin discussing your ideas, expectations, including possible locations, what to wear and your goals for the session in general.  Call me any time. We want to make we have all questions answered.   In fact, I encourage a face to face consultation so we can get to know each other and have some time to chat, I’m always open!

Step Number Two

The most important advice I can give to my clients is to have some fun!  I love to get in front of the camera; it helps me remember how stressful you or your family may feel.  You are making an investment in future memories.  It can be a challenge for you, worrying if the kids will behave.  Sometimes we have to let kids be kids and role with it.  We will have success and have fun! Below is a two year old that was a challenge until we found out she just wanted to lay on the floor and pose.

After Our Session Time Together

Editing and basic touch up of images takes a couple business days.  Once they are complete I will supply a link to you via email.  You will be able to view your images and select prints in various sizes, papers, and canvas.  If you purchased the digital download files, you will be able to do this from the link as well.

Preserving Your Precious Images

Memories need to be displayed.  I have been guilty of hording images in print and digital form in boxes.  With digital negative files you have the same concerns you had with film.  You need to protect them.   Hard disk and USB drives fail.   Printing on archive paper is one of the best ways to preserve your memories.  I love to see old photos in the antique stores. They may be 50 to 100 years old.  You very rarely see the negatives. If you need help with this, please do not hesitate to ask me.  I will help you with your selections and make sure you have cherished images for you and your loved ones.
