[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Joseph told me about the Mooresville Spinners baseball team several months back.  He went out to photograph them and did a great job!

I have upgraded my camera body to the Nikon D810 and discovered its ability to shoot super fast with the help my battery grip.  So I wanted to go out and get that ball on the bat shot. Got it!

I arrived about 40 minutes early and surveyed the sun situation and picked my spot near the Spinners dugout.  The spinners were playing the Deep River Muddogs.  Mooresville took a commanding lead by the 4th inning with a 9 run lead. The final score was Mooresville 17, Muddogs -3.

I have to say it has been a while since I was around action photography. It keeps the mind alert.
