Mooresville street photographer – Kevin D Shank always takes a little time while in Charlotte to capture a few photographs from the everyday happenings on the city streets.  Kevin searches several neighborhoods for street musicians and the latest graffiti. Sometimes I even encounter the latest protest.

I love to spend time on the the street with my camera.  I may stop and see if I can get a up close portrait of local artist working their favorite area of town while I explore . Here is an image of Mr. Southgate playing in front of Discovery Place during one of the hottest days of summer. He is taking advantage of the the Guitar exhibit featured at Discovery Place “The guitar, the instrument that rocked the world.

Put on your walking shoes and check out the talent and interesting images you may find.  Graffiti is difficult to find in Charlotte because there is a task force to remove it as quick as possible. So when you do find it I love to photograph it. I know it is short lived on the Charlotte city walls.
